For me, the perfect Sunday is spent hanging around in pyjamas all morning and then going for an afternoon stroll through Regents Park up to Primrose Hill for a cosy late lunch at Greenberry. That’s exactly what I did last weekend… the sun was shining and I figured, why not? You’d be hard pushed to find a better place to soak up the Sunday vibe in Primrose Hill. It has a character of its own with its colourful pastel houses, sweet boutiques and the high street full of independent restaurants, cafes and shops. This part of London is a little pocket of village happiness.
I don’t know what it is with me and florists, but they seem to catch my eye and pull me in even if I am on the other side of the street. And so I found myself outside Fitzroy’s, Primrose Hill’s florist. I really wanted to share with you these little vases with sprigs of flowers that they were selling outside. How cute are they? I love the mix of colours and sizes of flowers within each one. I ended up buying one and now it’s sitting on my desk as I type away. I’m definitely going to be creating these for future tablescapes and just to fill the little spaces in my house!
