Behind all of these adorable trinkets and cosy corners is a whole lot of history. Suvikunta, originally a publishing house, was tansformed into an artist’s retreat and finally into what we now call a Finnish club house. The first summer I spent there, I could barely set foot up the stairs without thinking it was haunted. But clearly, interior designer, Anita Zabludowicz could see past that, and turned the house into the incredible hub of coziness, family meals and refuge from rainstorms that it is today.
